Dr. Richardson is North Idaho’s only surgeon who has completed an advanced surgical fellowship specifically accredited in endoscopy and commonly performs combined laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures to allow patients to undergo fewer operations and have a faster recovery. He has served on several national endoscopic committees that set the standard of care in training and credentialing for surgeons performing endoscopy, including the Flexible Endoscopy Committee and the Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery Committee for the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons as well as the Flexible Endoscopy Committee for the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
